Job Summary
As an Energy Manager at CHT Germany GmbH's largest production and logistics site, you will be responsible for the holistic management and development of energy systems across the company's facilities. Your daily activities will involve analyzing energy technology—including electricity, gas, steam, compressed air, and cooling—to identify savings potential and implement technical or organizational efficiency measures. You will lead projects from the conceptual phase through to implementation, ensuring both technical viability and economic efficiency. A significant part of the role involves maintaining and advancing energy management systems according to ISO 50001 standards and collaborating closely with maintenance, production, and sustainability departments. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in energy management, energy technology, or a technical environment within an industrial company
- Proven experience in project management and the technical/economic evaluation of industrial measures
- Extensive experience in process engineering optimization and energy supply systems
- Practical experience with energy management standards and audit processes
