Job Summary

As a Biological Laboratory Technician in the microbiology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of drinking water for over 3 million people. Based at the Langenau waterworks, your daily responsibilities involve conducting microbiological examinations of drinking, ground, surface, and wastewater. You will perform routine testing as well as specialized tasks such as method optimization, virus and salmonella testing, microorganism identification, and flow cytometry cell counting. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Practical experience in quality assurance measures within a lab setting
  • Proven experience in structured and quality-oriented laboratory workflows
