Job Summary
As a Production Planning and Control Specialist at Hilscher, you will play a vital role in managing the manufacturing lifecycle of electronic assemblies. Your daily responsibilities involve planning, controlling, and monitoring production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts. You will be responsible for capacity planning, resource coordination (material, personnel, machinery), and the maintenance of master data including bills of materials (BOM) and work plans. A unique aspect of this role is the focus on supply chain resilience, where you will perform risk analyses for critical components, manage obsolescence, and ensure compliance using specialized tools. You will act as a central interface between production, purchasing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical or commercial vocational training or a university degree in Production, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in production planning or production control
- Experience in electronics manufacturing is highly preferred
- Proven experience working with ERP systems, specifically Business Central and PLM tools
- Experience in maintaining production master data and bills of materials
- Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams such as purchasing, hardware development, and management
