As a Customs Expert at Wintipak, you will play a critical role in managing international trade compliance for a global leader in aseptic packaging. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing import and export processes for packaging materials, machinery, and spare parts, ensuring all transactions adhere to international customs and foreign trade laws. You will be responsible for complex product classification (HS-Codes), managing origin proofs, and utilizing preferential trade agreements to optimize costs. Beyond administrative tasks, you will act as a strategic partner for internal departments and customs authorities, helping to mitigate risks and streamline global supply chains. Required Skills
Education
Completed commercial vocational training or a university degree, ideally in Foreign Trade, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Business Law, or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the customs sector, preferably within an international industrial company
- Proven experience in the classification of complex goods, such as composite materials or technical systems
- Experience working with customs software (ATLAS) and ERP systems
- Experience in managing customs audits and communicating with authorities
