Job Summary

As an Electronics Technician specializing in Telecommunications, you will play a vital role in expanding the regional fiber optic infrastructure in and around Braunschweig. Your daily responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, and repair of modern fiber optic networks (LWL) in both indoor and outdoor settings. You will be tasked with high-precision splicing and assembly work on fiber optic cables, as well as the professional installation of sleeves and distributors. A key part of the role involves quality assurance, where you will perform and document measurements using OTDR and attenuation testing tools. Additionally, you will provide critical support for troubleshooting and fault rectification to ensure network reliability. This 24-month fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art hardware and a company vehicle while contributing to the digital future of the region. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training in the electrical or telecommunications field, such as Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.
