Job Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing the water production department for the Minden municipal utility, managing a team of six employees. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of two waterworks and approximately 20 wells, ensuring the delivery of high-quality drinking water to the Minden area. Key duties include acting as the Technical Manager according to DVGW W1000 standards, optimizing technical and organizational processes, and developing strategic supply concepts. You will also represent the utility to authorities, manage budgets for investments, and lead projects related to water extraction, treatment, and storage. Required Skills
Education
Technical degree in Supply Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable field of water supply or environmental engineering
- Experience in project management and technical leadership
- Experience in managing budgets for investments and maintenance
- Proven leadership competence and ability to motivate a team
