Job Summary
As an FPGA Hardware Developer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for driving technological solutions to the next level by designing and optimizing innovative FPGA systems. Your day-to-day activities will include the design and commissioning of digital circuits, as well as programming microcontrollers using C and Assembler. You will also be tasked with developing critical test and adjustment routines and the necessary testing equipment to ensure high-quality standards. This role is ideal for both entry-level professionals and experienced engineers who enjoy working on complex IT development projects for well-known providers. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field; or a technical qualification such as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister).
Experience
- Professional experience in FPGA development and configuration
- Experience in microcontroller programming using C and Assembler
- Practical experience in the design and commissioning of digital circuits
- Experience in developing test routines and testing equipment
- Proven ability to work independently and follow structured workflows
Languages
Additional
- Fluent German skills are mandatory for this role. Candidates must be able to work on-site or within the specified project framework for FERCHAU's clients.
