Job Summary
As an Automotive EMC Test Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronic components and devices for leading automotive OEMs and suppliers. Your daily activities involve developing cost-effective measurement and testing concepts, conducting EMC qualifications in accordance with customer standards and legal requirements, and simulating the behavior of electronic systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining test setups and equipment. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy hands-on laboratory work combined with analytical simulation. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, Measurement Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in an EMC laboratory environment, which may include internships
- Experience in conducting EMC qualifications according to legal and customer-specific standards
- Practical experience with the maintenance of test setups and measurement equipment
- Experience in the simulation and evaluation of electronic systems within the automotive sector
