Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and design of electrical systems using EPLAN. Your daily activities involve creating circuit diagrams, cable concepts, and technical documentation in compliance with international standards and machine directives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop electromechanical assemblies and integrate drive and control elements. Beyond design, you will maintain master data and bills of materials within ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) and drive the continuous improvement of existing components. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician with further qualification as a Technician in a relevant field, or a University Degree in Mechatronics or a similar engineering discipline.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical design specifically using EPLAN
- Professional experience in planning and designing electromechanical assemblies and systems
- Proven experience in applying technical standards and regulations such as VDE and machine directives
- Experience in maintaining master data and parts lists within ERP environments
