Job Summary

As a Software Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of software application distribution within corporate networks. Your daily activities will include creating and managing software packages using industry-standard tools like InstallShield, WiX, and AdminStudio, and overseeing deployment via SCCM. You will play a critical role in automating installation and update processes across both Windows and Linux platforms through scripting. Beyond deployment, you will conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot complex installation issues. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in software packaging and distribution using tools such as SCCM, InstallShield, AdminStudio, or WiX
  • Professional experience in managing Windows and Linux platforms
  • Professional experience in script programming (PowerShell, Bash, or Batch)
  • Experience in network management and software deployment via corporate networks
  • Experience in error diagnosis and troubleshooting for software installations and updates
