As an Operations Engineer or Technician in the innovative pharmaceutical industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring that highly sensitive production processes for medications and diagnostic systems meet the highest quality standards. Your daily responsibilities include managing fermentation processes for pro- and eukaryotic cells, encompassing everything from virus propagation to cell harvesting and purification. You will be responsible for the operation, calibration, and functional monitoring of complex biotechnological systems. A significant portion of the role involves GMP-compliant documentation, equipment qualification, and change management to ensure technical advancements align with cGMP guidelines. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field; alternatively, a certified Technician qualification in one of these disciplines.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a comparable position, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry
  • Practical experience in GMP-compliant documentation and the qualification/validation of technical systems
  • Experience in change management processes for technical development and technology implementation
  • Experience in operating complex biotechnological equipment, including calibration and functional testing
  • Experience in conducting risk analyses in coordination with quality departments
