Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer at phibri IT Consulting GmbH, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and consulting services to medium-sized clients within the Herford and OWL region. Your daily activities will involve planning and executing server migrations and client hardware replacement projects, as well as building and integrating complete IT infrastructures from the ground up. You will serve as a key administrator for Microsoft environments, managing both client and server operating systems, and overseeing the implementation of Microsoft 365 and Office suites. Additionally, you will be tasked with the critical responsibility of configuring and maintaining firewall systems to ensure network security. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys direct customer contact and thrives in a solution-oriented environment, offering the chance to work on diverse projects within a dynamic team that values independent thinking and professional growth.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT system support and administration
- Proven experience in planning and implementing server replacement and client exchange projects
- Practical experience in the administration of Microsoft environments (Client & Server)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Office product implementation
- Demonstrated practice in firewall administration and maintenance
