The City of Haiger is seeking a Civil Engineer or Technician to join their municipal engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of roads, water bodies, and sewage systems. Your daily activities will include the planning, tendering, construction supervision, and final accounting of civil engineering projects, as well as surveying and inventory recording. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or advanced training as an Engineer or Technician specializing in road or sewer construction, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in road construction or sewer/canal construction
- Experience in the planning, tendering, and accounting of civil engineering measures
- Experience in surveying and technical inventory recording
- Proven ability to work independently and manage organizational tasks effectively
