Job Summary
This role involves serving as a representative for the City of Chemnitz, managing coordinated civil and structural engineering projects from contract award through to traffic release. Day-to-day, you will prepare and process construction measures, draft contracts with external partners, and conduct on-site construction supervision and documentation. You will also be responsible for managing supplementary negotiations, checking invoices, and monitoring warranty periods. A unique aspect of this position is the involvement in the full project lifecycle, including securing public funding and preparing templates for the City Council. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Road Construction, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in project work
- Minimum 1 year of experience in managing construction measures is preferred
- Experience in handling public law regulations such as the Saxon Road Act
- Experience in managing external partners and contract negotiations

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Readiness for field service (Außendienst). Clean certificate of conduct (Führungszeugnis) required upon request. Position is based in Chemnitz with options for full-time or part-time work.
