Job Summary
As an Inside Technical Sales Representative, you will serve as the central point of contact for electrical engineering projects at the Reichelsheim location. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing projects from initial customer inquiry to final production coordination. You will consult with clients on technical requirements for meter cabinets, sub-distributions, and modern energy solutions such as EV charging infrastructure and photovoltaics. The role requires you to develop technical solutions, calculate pricing, and maintain close communication with the production team to ensure feasibility. This position is unique because it combines traditional switchgear construction with cutting-edge energy management systems in a down-to-earth, supportive team environment. It is an ideal role for a technically-minded professional who enjoys problem-solving and consultative sales without the pressure of cold-calling, focusing instead on building relationships with existing contacts and providing genuine technical expertise.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician or Electronics Technician (e.g., Energy or Building Technology); OR further qualification as a Certified Technician or Master Craftsman; OR a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, or Industrial Engineering with a technical focus.
Experience
- Professional experience or strong interest in switchgear construction, meter cabinet assembly, or sub-distribution systems
- Experience in technical consulting and explaining complex electrical relationships to customers
- Background in managing technical projects through a ticket system or similar workflow tools
- Experience or familiarity with modern energy solutions like PV and charging infrastructure is preferred
