Job Summary
As a Senior Power Device Expert, you will join a passionate team at ROHM Semiconductor to provide high-level technical support for automotive and industrial customers. Your primary focus will be driving the integration of innovative power semiconductor chips, including Silicon and Wide-Band-Gap (SiC/GaN) technologies, into modern assemblies and modules. You will act as a technical bridge between customers and internal development teams, converting design opportunities into production wins by monitoring technology trends and communicating technical requirements. Beyond customer projects, you will represent the company at international conferences, contribute to technical publications, and participate in industrial working groups focused on reliability and technology standards. This role is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys a mix of deep engineering, strategic marketing, and customer-facing sales support within the cutting-edge semiconductor industry.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.) in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical subject.
Experience
- Substantial professional experience in the development, validation, and qualification of power semiconductor chips or modules
- Proven experience working with wide-band-gap semiconductors (SiC/GaN)
- Expert knowledge of module interconnect technologies and chip integration requirements
- Professional experience in the automotive and industrial electronics sectors
- Experience in technical project management and customer-facing roles
