Job Summary

As an Electrical Project Engineer specializing in medium voltage, you will play a pivotal role in Germany's energy transition by designing and implementing e-mobility infrastructure. This role involves the full lifecycle management of transformer stations, from the initial bidding phase and technical design to final commissioning. You will be responsible for ensuring all installations meet strict grid requirements and technical standards, coordinating closely with grid operators, authorities, and internal teams. Your day-to-day work includes technical dimensioning, researching VDE and DIN standards, and managing project risks related to quality, budget, and schedule. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or equivalent; ideally further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of medium voltage, transformer stations, or grid connection projects
  • Proven experience in the technical design and project planning of electrical systems
  • Practical experience applying VDE, DIN, and grid operator technical connection requirements (TAB)
  • Experience in coordinating with external stakeholders such as grid operators, authorities, and suppliers

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to travel within Germany and Austria; knowledge of VDE-AR-N 4110 standards.
