Job Summary
As a Medical Advisor for Urology at medac, you will serve as a critical scientific expert bridge between the company and the medical community. Based in Wedel near Hamburg, your daily responsibilities include providing scientific answers to customer inquiries, developing local medical strategies in alignment with global goals, and creating high-quality medical documentation and digital content. You will be instrumental in planning educational events, symposia, and seminars, while also monitoring scientific developments to train internal stakeholders. A significant portion of the role involves managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and overseeing local clinical study initiatives, including non-interventional studies. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in natural sciences (e.g., Biology) or an equivalent medical qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a relevant medical or scientific field
- Proven experience in the conception and implementation of complex technical medical projects
- Professional experience in building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Experience in evaluating and coordinating clinical study initiatives and non-interventional studies
- Experience in the urology therapeutic area is highly preferred
