Job Summary

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work in control technology for a leading manufacturer of automotive sealing system molds. As a key member of the automation team, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of control systems for in-house mechanical engineering projects. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with design, project management, and assembly teams to meet technical requirements, including the integration of robotics and image processing systems. You will manage projects from the initial concept through to final implementation, which includes commissioning systems both remotely and at international client sites. The position is ideal for a hands-on practitioner who enjoys structured problem-solving and is comfortable working with PLC and host computer levels. Required Skills

Education

Technical education (HTL, FH, University, Apprenticeship, or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or control technology
  • Practical experience with PLC systems and host computer levels
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley control systems (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience in planning and implementing technical requirements for machine construction
  • Experience in international commissioning and customer support
