This role involves serving as a central tax expert for the City Treasury of Frankfurt am Main, managing the municipality's tax obligations as both a debtor and shareholder. You will be responsible for developing city-wide input tax concepts, providing tax consultancy to various city departments and offices, and preparing corporate and trade tax returns. A major focus includes implementing Tax Compliance Management Systems and adapting to changes in VAT law (§ 2b UStG). Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Professional experience in tax law, specifically VAT and corporate tax
- Experience in the taxation of legal entities under public law is preferred
- Several years of professional tax experience required if applying with a non-specialized degree
- Experience with accounting software, ideally SAP
- Proven experience in independent, structured, and deadline-conscious work environments
