Job Summary
As an I&C (Instrumentation and Control) Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining electrical, measurement, and control systems across multiple power plant locations in the Western region. Your daily activities involve implementing small-scale technical measures, performing in-depth fault analysis, and supporting commissioning and overhauls. You will play a key role in standardizing I&C architectures and developing sustainable spare parts strategies. This position is ideal for technical experts who enjoy a mix of hands-on troubleshooting and strategic project support. You will work closely with plant managers to ensure operational stability while contributing to group-wide technical standards. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, the chance to work with modern energy-from-waste technology, and the opportunity to influence technical documentation and training across the organization.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a similar field.
Experience
- Professional experience in I&C technology, preferably within the energy, process, or industrial plant sectors
- Experience in fault analysis and malfunction diagnosis of complex technical systems
- Experience in implementing technical measures during ongoing plant operations
- Proven track record in collaborating on technical standardization and project support
