Job Summary

The State Office for Mining, Geology and Raw Materials (LBGR) is seeking an IT Coordinator to manage and develop specialized IT procedures in Cottbus. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical support, conceptual design, and implementation of specialist applications that support the agency's oversight of mining and energy transition projects. Day-to-day tasks include performing requirements analysis, creating technical specifications (Lasten- und Pflichtenhefte), advising specialist departments, and administering workstations. You will also engage in programming and manage large relational databases. This position offers a highly flexible work environment with mobile work options and a comprehensive public service benefits package. Please note this is a fixed-term replacement role for maternity and parental leave, currently estimated to run until July 2027. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) preferably in Computer Science or a related field. International degrees require ZAB or ANABIN evaluation.
