Job Summary
As a Repair Shop Manager at Safran Electronics & Defense, you will oversee the daily operations and technical workflows of the repair facility. Your role involves organizing shop floor activities, providing technical customer support, and analyzing client orders against technical specifications and regulations. You will be hands-on in troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating complex electronic devices and assemblies while supporting your team in these tasks. A critical part of the role includes documenting findings for cost estimates and repair reports. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for quality management, development departments, and customers. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Optoelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Communications Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in analog and digital electronics
- Practical experience in a technical repair or maintenance environment
- Preferred experience in the MRO environment according to Part 145 aviation standards
- Experience in technical customer support and order analysis
- Experience in leading or instructing technical staff

- Must be willing to take on independent responsibility for complex technical tasks. Role requires proficiency in both written and spoken German and English for technical documentation and customer communication.
