This part-time role (25 hours/week) within the City of Neumünster's Department of Household and Finance combines technical software support with specialized accounting. You will be responsible for the functional administration of the 'H&H proDoppik' financial software, including system configuration, update management, and user support. On the accounting side, you will manage asset accounting (Anlagenbuchhaltung), handle master data maintenance, and perform bookings for investment orders. A key part of the role involves contributing to annual financial statements, balance sheet preparation, and budget planning. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; OR qualification for the higher intermediate general administrative service; OR certified Municipal Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter/Finanzbuchhalter) with IHK qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in asset accounting or financial system support
  • Experience with municipal double-entry accounting (Doppik) is highly desirable
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant public service pay grade (A8 or EG 8) for specific entry paths
  • Experience in preparing annual financial statements and balance sheets
  • Proven track record in independent and diligent task execution
