As the Head of Department for Second Level Application Support, you will lead a team of over 30 employees dedicated to providing critical IT services for 72 municipalities. Your daily responsibilities involve strategic leadership, talent development, and the optimization of support processes to ensure high service quality and customer experience. You will oversee critical functional areas including civil services, social affairs, and application technology. Acting as a 'Change Agent,' you will drive cultural and strategic transformation within the organization while managing escalations and complex technical troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT leader who thrives on building partnerships with software manufacturers and external innovators to modernize technical infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, Administrative Science, or a comparable qualification supported by professional practice.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in a significant IT support unit
  • Professional experience within the municipal IT sector is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic and cultural transformation processes
  • Experience managing large teams (30+ employees)
  • Practical experience with municipal software platforms (e.g., VOIS, OK.EWO) is advantageous
