As the Group Lead for SMT Production in Wieden, you will take on a pivotal leadership role overseeing the technical and disciplinary management of the SMT manufacturing team. Your daily responsibilities involve acting as a central interface between production, development, and testing departments, ensuring the seamless optimization and standardization of SMT processes. You will be responsible for defining technical specifications, modernizing production equipment, and actively participating in operational tasks when necessary. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification such as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in SMT manufacturing
- Experience in the disciplinary and technical leadership of production teams
- Proven experience in programming and optimizing modern SMT placement machines
- Professional experience in quality assurance for electronic assemblies, specifically with AOI and electrical test systems
- Practical experience in the production of optical sensors or camera modules
