As a Building Services Technician at the Borstel Research Center, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex technical infrastructure within a leading international lung research facility. Your day-to-day work involves managing highly specialized laboratory environments alongside historic office buildings, ensuring operational readiness through fault analysis and troubleshooting of electrical, ventilation, and cooling systems. You will perform cross-trade inspections, oversee external service providers during construction projects, and maintain building automation systems. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of technical building systems
  • Several years of practical experience in the maintenance of HVAC systems is preferred
  • Experience in managing external service providers and construction projects
  • Proven track record in working with building control systems and automation
