Job Summary

As a Control Systems Development Engineer at XENON, you will take ownership of the design and development of sophisticated automation systems. Your daily responsibilities include programming PLC controls and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), as well as commissioning and testing components both in-house and at international client sites. Beyond technical execution, you will provide functional leadership to project teams and external partners, ensuring that budgets and timelines are strictly followed. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC programming and control systems development
  • Previous experience in special-purpose machinery manufacturing (Sondermaschinenbau) is preferred
  • Experience in the functional guidance or leadership of project teams and external partners
  • Proven track record in commissioning and testing industrial components
  • Experience in project monitoring, including budget and timeline reporting
