Job Summary
As a System Architect at IAMT Group, you will take ownership of the overall architecture for complex automotive systems, integrating software, hardware, and E/E components. Your daily responsibilities include deriving system and subsystem architectures from OEM and customer requirements, defining critical interfaces, and establishing communication concepts. You will act as a central technical bridge, collaborating closely with teams in requirements management, testing, functional safety, and cybersecurity. A key part of the role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 while evaluating technical concepts and architectural alternatives across the product lifecycle. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a System Architect, System Engineer, or in a comparable role within the automotive sector
- Proven experience with automotive E/E architectures and software-driven systems
- Experience in defining interfaces and communication protocols for embedded systems
- Experience working with industry-standard architecture and system tools
- Professional experience in structured technical evaluation and decision-making
