Job Summary
As an IT Specialist for System Integration & Support at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) in Coburg, you will play a vital role in maintaining and evolving a modern client infrastructure supporting over 100 devices. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support, managing MS Teams for online training, and overseeing the system landscape including servers, switches, firewalls, and PC workstations. You will also collaborate with external IT service providers and lead internal training sessions. This position is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical support and strategic digitalization projects. The role offers the stability of a public-interest organization with the technical variety of managing network infrastructure (VLAN, ACL), telephony (CTI), and modern cloud environments like Azure AD and Microsoft 365. It is a full-time position with flexible working hours by arrangement, located in the historic city of Coburg.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a student worker in the field of Computer Science.
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in IT system integration and support
- Experience in managing server infrastructure, including switches, NAS, and firewalls
- Experience in user support and helpdesk environments
- Experience in planning and conducting internal technical training
- Experience with digital transformation projects
