Job Summary
This role involves leading the technical development and optimization of cooling modules for mobile applications within an innovative industrial environment in Aachen. As the Technical Director and Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the thermal design of cooling systems, overseeing R&D projects, and managing the development and construction department. Your day-to-day tasks include CAD design, industrialization of cooling modules, and the planning and establishment of a testing field for heat exchanger validation. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc., B.Sc., or Diploma Engineer)
Experience
- Professional experience in the design and dimensioning of mechanical components
- Experience in thermal design of cooling systems for mobile applications
- Proven experience using CAD software, preferably Onshape
- Initial leadership experience is desirable for managing the development and construction department
- Experience in managing research and development projects
- Practical experience in planning and setting up testing fields for heat exchangers
