Job Summary

As a Policy Advisor for Long-Term Care and Health Insurance at IKK, you will play a pivotal role in managing healthcare provision contracts within the Stormarn region of Schleswig-Holstein. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve negotiating, concluding, and terminating supply contracts with healthcare providers, as well as conducting statutory quality audits in collaboration with medical services. You will represent the insurance fund in specialized committees and working groups, analyzing supply structures and performance data to inform strategic decision-making. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, as you will draft statements for the board and represent all health and nursing care funds in arbitration proceedings. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Social Insurance Specialist with further qualification as a Health Insurance Specialist or Health Insurance Business Administrator; alternatively, a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Social or Administrative Law.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in healthcare contract management or health insurance policy
  • Proven experience in conducting remuneration negotiations with outpatient and inpatient care facilities
  • Experience representing organizations in specialist committees or arbitration boards
  • Professional experience in analyzing healthcare supply structures and performance data
