Job Summary
This role is for an experienced WDM/DWDM Network Planner to contribute to the planning and ongoing development of modern WDM network infrastructures, working 100% remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for low-level design, network optimization, and comprehensive documentation using FNT Command. Key daily tasks include coordinating with construction projects, evaluating network concepts, finalizing as-built documentation, and creating network expansion plans. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, extensive experience in WDM/DWDM planning and optimization, and proficiency with network planning tools. This position offers a secure, permanent role with flexible remote work options and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Proven experience in planning and optimizing WDM infrastructures
- Experience in configuring DWDM/CWDM systems
- Experience in migrating existing DWDM/CWDM systems
- Professional experience with network planning tools like Wisio and FNT Command
