Job Summary

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the experimental verification of shock safety for technical equipment. Your daily activities will involve creating detailed test specifications, managing technical documentation, and overseeing the formal release process. A significant portion of the role focuses on coordination and technical clarification with internal design and production departments, as well as external stakeholders including international suppliers, testing authorities, and the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment (BAAINBw). You will personally accompany equipment testing at both sub-supplier sites and official military testing facilities. This position is ideal for a process-oriented engineer who enjoys technical documentation and cross-functional communication. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Physics, or Design Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in creating test specifications and experimental verification
  • Experience in document management and technical release processes
  • Proven experience in technical coordination with suppliers and international customers
  • Experience in accompanying physical testing at external test centers or laboratories
  • Experience working within structured engineering teams using PLM tools
