Job Summary

This full-time research position at the Institute for Aerospace Technology (IAT) at Hochschule Bremen offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the 'TruSpace' project. As a PhD candidate, you will focus on developing a trustworthy satellite communication system, specifically designing high-frequency (HF) front-ends. Your day-to-day work involves the independent scientific processing of project tasks, including the simulation, optimization, and prototyping of analog and mixed-signal HF circuits. You will work within an interdisciplinary team of academic and industrial partners to ensure technological sovereignty through open-source design flows. This role is ideal for researchers interested in high-frequency circuit design, integrated circuit (IC) technology, and system design. The position is attractive due to its long-term stability (funded until March 2030), the opportunity to pursue a doctorate, and the chance to work on cutting-edge aerospace and satellite communication technologies in a highly collaborative international environment.
