As a Planning and Operations Engineer at Stadtwerke Lübeck Energie GmbH, you will play a critical role in ensuring the sustainable and economical supply of drinking water to approximately 230,000 people. Your daily responsibilities include managing new construction and modernization projects across all HOAI phases (1-9), specifically focusing on water extraction, treatment, storage, and distribution. You will oversee external contractors, optimize operational processes for energy efficiency and safety, and implement technical risk management in accordance with German drinking water regulations (TrinkwV). Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma or Master's) in Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Urban Water Management, or a comparable engineering field.
Experience
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience in water management or civil engineering
- Proven experience in the management and control of engineering projects
- Practical experience applying legal regulations such as TrinkwV, Landeswassergesetz, and DVGW guidelines
- Experience in coordinating and supervising external construction companies and service providers
