Job Summary

This multifaceted role, reporting directly to the Mayor's office, combines community engagement with strategic municipal development. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for local associations, providing consultation, recruiting new volunteers, and organizing qualification programs and award ceremonies. Simultaneously, as a Project Manager, you will support the implementation of critical municipal infrastructure projects. This involves monitoring project progress and budgets, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and refining project management instruments to ensure efficiency. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; or qualification for the 'gehobener Dienst' (Laufbahngruppe 2) via Angestelltenlehrgang II.

Experience

  • Professional experience in municipal administration or a related public sector field
  • Proven experience in association work and collaborating with volunteers
  • Experience with structured processes and project management techniques, particularly for large-scale projects
  • Experience in developing and adapting project management instruments
