Job Summary
As the Head of Internal Audit, you will lead a team of three, developing and executing a risk-oriented audit strategy. Your daily tasks will involve planning, conducting, and overseeing internal reviews and audits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, especially for statutory health insurance funds (SGB V, SGB X). You will guide your team in analyzing business processes for efficiency and compliance, identify weaknesses, and propose optimizations. Collaboration with external auditors and other departments is key, as is preparing and presenting audit reports to management. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in internal audit or compliance, excellent analytical skills, and a desire to shape audit processes within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field; or certified specialist in social and health care (Fachwirt im Sozial- und Gesundheitswesen) or equivalent qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in internal audit, external audit, or compliance management
- Practical experience in risk management, internal control systems, and process optimization
- Leadership experience (empathic leadership is desirable)
