Job Summary

This role involves working in a modern analytical laboratory for a Japanese subsidiary specializing in automotive chemicals such as brake fluids and coolants. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day analysis of samples using advanced chromatography techniques, including HPLC and IC, to ensure high-quality standards for major automotive OEMs. Your daily tasks will include performing quality control on chemical products, assisting in the development of new measurement methods, preparing customer samples, and calibrating laboratory equipment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or a comparable chemical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical laboratory environments or analytical testing
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography equipment (HPLC, IC) is required
  • Experience with Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) systems is preferred
  • Experience in the automotive supply industry or working with IATF 16949 standards is beneficial
