This role involves coordinating and initiating climate protection projects within the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, specifically focusing on energy use plans and greenhouse gas reduction. As a Climate Protection Coordinator, you will act as a central link between regional stakeholders and local municipalities, providing expert advice on funding opportunities and financial planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing energy and CO2 balances, managing public relations, and organizing event formats to promote sustainability. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Renewable Energies, Business Engineering, Geography, Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, or a comparable natural science/technical degree; or qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (Administrative Specialist/Diploma).
Experience
- Professional experience in interdisciplinary project management
- Experience in the field of energy consulting is desirable
- Proven experience in identifying and applying for climate protection funding programs
- Experience in working with municipal stakeholders and regional actors
- Experience in developing energy and CO2 balances
