Job Summary
As the Head of Secondary Systems, you will lead a critical organizational unit responsible for the operational technology (OT) of high-voltage power grids. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing personnel and budgets, ensuring the functionality of protection, control, and communication technology, and driving the strategic development of systems in the context of the energy transition and digitalization. You will be a key player in hardening OT systems through the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role is highly attractive for experienced engineering leaders looking to influence regional energy infrastructure within the E.ON group network. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering (Diploma or Master's degree).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in secondary systems, specifically in protection and control technology
- Proven leadership experience with social competence and a motivating management style
- Experience in budget management and goal-oriented organizational steering
- Experience in managing external service providers and cross-functional teams
- Professional experience in ensuring regulatory compliance and system security

- Valid Class B driver's license required for site visits and project-related travel. Position is based in Saarwellingen with a fixed-term contract of 3 years.
