Job Summary
This role is for a Java Software Developer to join a team dedicated to developing and enhancing e-government applications and IT infrastructure for the Free State of Bavaria. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the continued development of distributed Java applications for the education sector, collaborating closely with the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Culture. Key responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating software development by external service providers, managing acceptance tests, and conducting requirements analysis and documentation. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Dipl.-FH or Bachelor) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Java development and database utilization
- Several years of experience in managing external development teams
- Experience with Identity Management Systems and protocols like SAML or OpenID Connect
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes and Java 21
Languages
Additional
- Work location in Munich or Nuremberg. Full-time or part-time employment is possible. Potential for civil servant status for IT Bachelor graduates, depending on suitability.
