Job Summary
As the Head of Vocational Training for the Prignitz district, you will be responsible for the strategic management and conceptual design of training programs for over 50 apprentices and dual-track students. Your daily activities include creating training and deployment plans, coordinating with technical instructors, and leading the selection and recruitment process for new talent. You will serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for trainees throughout their educational journey. Beyond internal management, you will act as a brand ambassador, representing the district at career fairs and information days to attract future professionals. This role is ideal for a structured professional with a background in public administration or HR who enjoys mentoring young talent and shaping the future workforce of a public sector organization. The position offers a high degree of responsibility in a stable public service environment.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Public Administration (Diplomverwaltungswirt/Bachelor of Laws), HR Management, or equivalent; alternatively, completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist or Legal Assistant with significant relevant experience. Instructor Aptitude Certification (AEVO) is desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in human resources and vocational training management
- Experience in public administration or legal services environments
- Experience in coordinating and advising large groups of trainees or students
- Practical knowledge of public sector labor and personnel law is advantageous
