Job Summary
As an Embedded Systems Software Developer in the aerospace sector, you will be responsible for developing software tools and applications for safety-critical embedded systems. Your daily activities will include creating technical specifications for multicore microcontroller systems, developing applications in C++ or Java within a Windows environment, and ensuring tool qualification according to rigorous aerospace standards like DO-178C and DO-330. You will play a key role in an agile, interdisciplinary team, coordinating tasks and performing software reviews for requirement analysis and design. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a similar qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in software tool development for embedded systems
- Experience in hardware-near C programming and microcontroller configuration
- Professional experience in application development using C++ or Java in Windows environments
- Experience with aerospace certification standards (DO-178C / DO-330)
- Experience working within agile development teams and interdisciplinary projects
- Experience in software requirement analysis and design reviews
