Job Summary
As a Field Service Technician for Scheidt & Bachmann's Parking Solutions division, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of modular parking management systems across the Rhine-Main region. Your daily activities involve diagnosing and resolving technical malfunctions in parking hardware and accessories, such as intercom and video systems. Beyond technical repairs, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing advisory services regarding spare parts and conducting training for client personnel to ensure smooth operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a mix of hands-on electrical work and direct customer interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of Electrics, Electronics, Electromechanics, or a comparable technical discipline.
Experience
- Professional experience in the service sector, ideally with several years of practice
- Experience in installing and maintaining electrical or electronic systems
- Proven track record in technical troubleshooting and error analysis
- Experience in customer advisory and providing product instructions to users
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license (passenger cars) is mandatory. High willingness to travel within the Rhine-Main region (e.g., Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt). Must be comfortable with PC hardware and software applications.
