Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of customer-specific projects, from initial technical support and solution development to final acceptance. Your daily tasks involve performing electrotechnical calculations, creating detailed documentation, and developing manufacturing documents such as E-plans and bills of materials (BOM). You will act as a key technical liaison, providing support during the bidding process and overseeing activities in production, assembly, and the testing field. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical engineering and project coordination. The position is based in Vienna and offers a permanent full-time contract with a competitive salary above the collective agreement based on experience. You will work in a dynamic environment where you can apply your expertise in control cabinet construction and electrical component design to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Required Skills

Education

Technical education from a Higher Technical Institute (HTL) or University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the engineering of electrotechnical systems
  • Practical experience with ELCAD 7 software and the design of electrical components
  • Demonstrated experience in control cabinet construction and heavy current technology
  • Experience in project handling from solution development through to final acceptance
  • Experience in technical customer support and bid support
