Job Summary
As a Software Engineer for the CM500 platform, you will play a critical role in ensuring business continuity for gas and steam turbine projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the design, development, and maintenance of the CM500 software using Delphi and C++. You will manage the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to architecture and testing, while also developing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. This role is unique as it combines hands-on systems engineering with technical leadership, requiring you to act as a subject matter expert and mentor for cross-functional teams. You will work within the Gas Services division, focusing on decarbonization and modernization of global energy fleets. This position is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys complex troubleshooting and wants to contribute to the global energy transition within a stable, long-term project environment.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in systems software engineering, specifically within industrial or embedded environments
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in managing large and complex software projects independently
- Proven experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code reviews and quality assurance
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated build and deployment processes
- Experience in mentoring and providing technical guidance to other engineers
