As a Civil Engineer for the Municipality of Schwieberdingen, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing local infrastructure for a community of approximately 11,600 residents. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing road maintenance systems, supervising third-party excavations, and overseeing the planning of drinking water connections. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of the sewage network, the construction of playgrounds, and supporting senior management in flood protection and water management projects. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil/Heavy Engineering (Tiefbau) or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Professional qualification as an Engineer specializing in Civil Engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in road maintenance, water management, or infrastructure projects is preferred
- Experience in independent, result-oriented project handling
- Experience with road management systems and self-monitoring regulations (Eigenkontrollverordnung) is beneficial
