Job Summary
As a Policy Advisor and Economic Researcher for the German Taxpayers Institute (DSi), you will play a central role in analyzing current fiscal and tax policy issues at federal, state, and local levels. Your day-to-day work involves conducting in-depth research to derive concrete reform proposals, which you will then transform into published position papers, statements, and research reports. The position requires a strong instinct for financial policy and the ability to communicate complex subject matter clearly to both professional and public audiences. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about advocating for a fair tax system and public spending efficiency. Based in Berlin-Mitte, the position offers a collaborative NGO environment with attractive conditions, including flexible working hours and home office options. Required Skills
Education
Degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Social Sciences, or Law.
Experience
- Professional experience in analyzing fiscal, budgetary, or tax policy issues
- Proven experience in drafting scientific publications, research papers, or policy statements
- Experience in presenting complex economic relationships in a persuasive written and oral format
- Experience working within a team-oriented research or NGO environment
