Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator in Amberg, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the company's Microsoft-based infrastructure. Your day-to-day activities will include administering Microsoft Servers within a VMware environment, managing Active Directory and Group Policies, and overseeing patch management via WSUS. You will ensure the high availability and security of all IT systems, including clients, mobile devices, VPNs, and firewalls, while also supporting the rollout of Office 365 and Teams. Beyond routine maintenance, you will play a key role in planning and executing IT projects in collaboration with various departments. This position is ideal for an IT all-rounder who enjoys tackling new technical challenges. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration / Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Proven experience in the administration of Microsoft products
- Experience in network infrastructure and IT security management
- Experience in supporting ERP systems and creating SQL-based reports is preferred
- Professional experience in project support and implementation
